Canada is a world leader in helping others. One of the best examples of is Canada’s programs for Maternal, Newborn, and early childhood Health. Each year 6 and a half million children die before age 5. So Canada is helping in practical ways: micronutrients, malaria nets, things that seem so simple but can make such a difference. Canadian aid is practically targeted and really makes a difference. It’s another way Canada leads the world.
