Local Meet and Greets
2014, Jan 23 – Local Meet and Greets
Most people don’t ever personally meet their Member of Parliament, which is too bad because our fundamental job is to represent our constituents. But almost all MPs have some form of open house for coffee shop meet-and-greets. Perhaps you’ve heard the ads for Lynne Yelich’s winter tour – it’s the same thing! We do Open Houses to encourage people to come and communicate with us in more in-depth ways than a simple email or letter will do; it allows us to answer and ask questions that people wouldn’t feel comfortable asking, because there is still no communication like face to face communication. And for those of you who are in Watson, Quill Lake, or Bruno this Saturday, come out to the coffee shops in Quill Lake and Bruno and the rink in Watson – I’d love to have a chat with you, face to face.
I’m Brad Trost, Member of Parliament for Saskatoon-Humboldt and I’m working for you. For more information check out my website at bradtrost.ca.
