Communicating with Constituents
June 26, 2014 – Communicating with Constituents
This is my last radio column before I break for the summer. I do these radio columns to communicate with you, my constituents in Saskatoon-Humboldt. I try to give people a flavor of the topics that are dealt with by Members of Parliament on a day-to-day basis. Over the years that I’ve done this column I’ve found it works best when it functions as a two-way street; when listeners write to compliment, criticize, or question remarks that I’ve made on the radio. Come fall I’m looking to change the format a bit, but I still encourage people to respond and contact my office on the issue of the day. Be it local, national, or international issues, I can only do my job effectively when constituents let me know what matters to them.
Signing off until the fall, I’m Brad Trost, Member of Parliament for Saskatoon-Humboldt and I’m working for you. For more information, check out my website at bradtrost.ca.
